I love a woodland themed wedding! The delicate ferns, earthy moss, lush shades of green! Alexandra and Brock’s wedding took place at the beautiful Fishermen’s Inn in Elburn, IL. It was the perfect venue for their rustic, woodland themed wedding. The bridesmaid’s wore soft, taupe dresses of flowing chiffon and Alexandra glowed in a fitted, lace gown. The romantic bouquets were full of textural, trailing foliage and ferns as well as succulents, thistles, roses, and wildflowers. We decorated the venues arch with a gorgeous garland accented with flowers. Ferns and foliage were tucked away in every corner of this wedding! At the reception the bright greenery provided a beautiful contrast with the rustic barn wood in the Great Room. My favorite detail at the reception was the wood sweetheart table that the groom made and the gold velvet chairs for the bride and groom, we just added a simple garland and it looked perfect!
