The happy colors and vintage charm of Roxanna and Andy’s wedding was the epitome of a summer farm wedding! We love doing weddings at Heritage Prairie Farm in Elburn, IL! Many of our Heritage Prairie brides want to incorporate the look and feel of the fields and prairies surrounding the farm into their floral designs and Roxanna was no exception to this request. The vision for her wedding was to bring in the look of the natural surroundings of the farm along with a touch of English garden style. She asked that we use vibrant, warm colorful summer blooms including roses, snapdragon, asters and dahlias, along with wildflowers such as camomile, lavender and pennycress accented with trailing foliage and vines. We decorated the farm’s pergola for the ceremony with a swag of flowers and garden urns filled with flowing flowers welcomed guests at the beginning of the aisle. In the tent, a dreamy floral chandelier brimming with trailing foliage and vines along with brightly colored vertically hung flowers was the perfect eye catching centerpiece for the space! Wallflower Design’s vintage milk glass collection were the perfect vessels for the arrangements on the farm tables at the reception. I just love the contrast between the bright flowers and the crisp white milk glass! Everything was captured beautifully by Tim Tab Studios!
